We met for the first time in the fall of 2021 after both briefly venturing into the online dating scene. We initially hit it off because of our mutual interests and values. Our conversations on our dates left us wanting a deeper connection. It was easy for us to get along so well because we felt a sense of familiarity early on, even though we had hardly known each other. This was also the time Jon taught Mackenzie how to dance lol!

After many successful dates, Mackenzie agreed to be Jon’s girlfriend in December 2021.

Our first full year together was filled with excitement as we spent quality time together with friends and family. This was the year we got to experience the full culinary delights of Tucson.

From 2022 to 2023, we traveled together to places like Cave Creek, Nashville, and San Carlos, Mexico. However, the best trip of all took place in the Spring of 2024.

In April 2024, we decided to take a weekend trip to Sedona, AZ, with our dog Harper to explore the Red Rocks. Little did Mackenzie know… this wasn’t just an ordinary trip.

During a hike on Saturday April 20th, Jon got down on one knee in front of the stunning Cathedral Rock and proposed to Mackenzie. Needless to say, we were both overwhelmed with love and joy in that moment. Of course, Mackenzie said, “Yes!”

Since then, we have been over the moon with excitement for our upcoming wedding on April 26, 2025.

We’re looking forward to celebrating with you all in beautiful downtown Tucson, AZ.
